I almost didn’t read this blog post because it said he was an “endurance sports” coach. You see, I really don’t think of myself as an endurance sports-type-a-gal. I mean I just don’t see myself climbing Mount Everest any time soon. But I sure am glad I took the time to read these tips from Coach Al. I think he may be the high school athletics coach I never had, but could have used and always wished for.
Coach Al, endurance sports blogger, mentor and coach, writes a great post encouraging us to bust those silly (yet common) excuses that prevent us from living the life we desire.
I especially related to Coach Al when he said:
I want to encourage you to remember that the action need not be monumental or huge. Sometimes something as simple as 5min of exercise or a single, relaxed, Yoga pose…or eating a single food that nourishes our body and mind, or spending a few minutes reading a short passage from one of our favorite books on the topic, can be all we need to right the ship and keep on keeping on, in a productive way.
Five minutes baby! Start small. It really can make a difference.
